A Phase 2, randomized, double-blind, dose-finding study of an investigational medication given under the skin for 20 weeks, compared with placebo, in adults with Type 2 diabetes.
- At least 18 years of age
- Type 2 diabetes diagnosed at least 6 months before the first visit
- HbA1c of 7.0% to 10.5% at the first visit
- On a stable dose of metformin (1,000 mg/day or more, or the maximum tolerated dose) and/or an SGLT-2 inhibitor, plus standard diet and physical activity, for at least 3 months
- BMI of 23 or more
