• BMI > 27kg/m2

• Knee pain at and for >12 weeks prior to screening

• Have one 1+ of the following:

  • Age >50 years

  • Morning stiffness in the index knee for over 30 minutes in duration

  • Crepitus in the indie knee

  • No diabetes of any kind
